Delete from inside the app

If you still have the app installed, open the menu, choose Data & Privacy, then Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm. The same screen offers an export first. That option also appears on the account screen under Export or delete my data.

If you cannot sign in

If you have forgotten your password, you can get back into your account at ohmylittlethings.com/recover. That route works through a code your partner can read out to you, so it does not depend on email.

What deleting removes, and what stays

Deleted, including the files themselves:

• Your photos and your voice notes.
• The facts recorded about you, by either of you, and any corrections to them.
• The private notes you wrote, including gift plans.
• Your chat messages, including earlier versions of messages you edited.
• Your wishlist, your answers, your quiz guesses, your place notes, the trip memories you added, and the people entries you created.
• Your settings, your notification registrations and the record of notifications sent to you, and any pending password-reset or sign-in codes.

Kept, with your name removed:

• The facts you wrote about your partner. They stay on their side, without your name attached.
• Shared trips, trip plans and packing lists.
• Calendar plans and memories you created, except entries you marked as busy time, which are deleted.
• Corrections you made to your partner's facts.

Not touched at all:

• Your partner's account, and their own photos, messages and answers.

This is immediate and permanent

Deletion happens straight away. There is no grace period, no waiting window and no way to restore the account afterwards. Any other device you are signed in on is signed out at once. Export first if you want a copy.

What happens to your partner

Deleting your account ends the pairing. Your partner's account is not deleted, and their own photos, messages and answers stay with them. You cannot be paired back to a deleted account.
